Before and after of this adorable grey fox I found last spring. I still plan to do an articulation, however I’m missing a few bones (which is fine, I literally found her as a mummified lump so ¯_(ツ)_/¯)
I’m missing most of the paw bones, a few tail bones, and a couple bones for the leg. I’m thinking she was killed by a dog. Some sort of predator that didn’t need to eat her. She was too far from the road to have been hit by a car, and in too good condition tbh, and she was on a pretty popular hiking trail where people let their dogs off leashes all the time. Looking at her broken back leg and broken lower ribs, I think a dog attack would be my best bet. But ¯_(ツ)_/¯ who knows!
