Tiny baby bird I found dried up on my driveway 😦 Poor lil dude must’ve fallen out of his nest but he’s just so incredibly tiny that he had no hope of survival. His whole skull is barely a cm in length. Sadly he’s protected under the migratory bird treaty act and therefor illegal to keep here in the US so i’ll be burying him in the garden but at least I took a few more pics of him, which I may post later on~~
i collected a very very very dead squirrel today… but the skeleton’s amazingly intact! head and all four limbs and look at that gorgeous spine! after a month or two more of decomp i might have a complete enough skeleton to articulate, i’m very hopeful.
