There’s a ton of ways to interact with any god or goddess. Trance, divination, learning to listen for their voice, ect.
As for offerings…as with all the Norse gods, she is fond of mead. She’s fond of honey as well, and in my experience honeycomb is accepted with great delight if you can get it.
Warm fresh bread, and fresh fruit.
She’s fond of coffee as well, and tea. Either of these sweetened with honey is very good. She likes perfume, and fresh flowers, and cosmetics. In the case of cosmetics and perfume, she likes it even more if you wear them and enjoy them.
Jewelry. Beautiful jewelry delights her. And same as cosmetics and perfume, it delights her to see her followers wear it in her honor.
Boldness pleases her as well, from her followers. I dedicate my time spent training in martial arts to her; she is a war goddess, remember, and such things please her.
Sex, if you enjoy sex. Dedicating sexual pleasure to her pleases her very much.
Learning more about magic. She taught Odin the art of sedir, remember, and Odin holds her abilities and advice in high regard.
“Freya, Goddess of gold, inspire me today. Teach me to walk through my day
with pride in my own being, with confidence, with power. Goddess of fiery passion, bless me with the insight
to the marrow of my bones
that I am a person of worth
in the eyes of the Gods
the eyes of the ancestors
and of myself. May I radiate this
and transforms all I meet. That is my prayer for this day, oh great and powerful Goddess, that I may mirror Your presence throughout my day. In return, I shall praise You always, and lay amber before Your image, consigning it to the sacred fires that burn
when the day is at its longest. Hail Freya, shining Goddess of gold. I praise You.”
My favorite offerings to Freyja are fresh flowers (when available), and tea with honey. The flowers don’t have to be fancy; she loves the lovely wildflowers and even the lovely flowers of weeds as much as florist’s roses. More, even.
For Bastet, bread is a classic offering. She seems to like flowers as well, and honey.
Oh! Bastet loves milk as well, as you might expect!
Freyja is the Norse goddess of love, sex, beauty, sorcery, fertility, gold and war. She was a lover of material things such as jewelry and had a huge passion for songs and poetry.
*Fun Facts!*
-Had a falcon-feathered cloak that enabled the wearer to fly. – A pair of cats named Bygul and Tryegul. Check em out!
When you get to the bangin’, simply say, silently, “Freyja, Lady, I thank you for this gift of pleasure and passion, and in your honor do I offer this ecstasy.”
Freyja was the norse goddess of love, war, life, and death. She was married to the god Odr, who traveled frequently and one day did not return to her. She wept for her missing husband, and it is said that she wandered the worlds looking for him, crying tears of gold and amber.
