“You Cannot Touch Her” Curse/Binding
This curse is particularly for people who have done harm in the past, and as such already known to be a potential threat. The idea is to keep the person from speaking to or approaching the one you’re trying to protect, and to make them feel watched and judged for their past actions.
You will need the following:
- A jar big enough to hold a poppet
- Some kind of poppet – I used a wooden one with the offender’s name written on the bottom. A photo could also be used
- White out
- A black candle
- A mixture of black salt & cayenne pepper
- A sigil of your own design meaning “You cannot touch [name or pronoun]”
- A permanent marker
Light the candle and white out the mouth of your poppet. Roll the poppet in the mixture of black salt and cayenne pepper (black salt tends to stain so keep this in mind). Place it in the jar and seal the lid, leaving the poppet inside under the gaze of dozens of eyes. Write your sigil on the lid. During or after all of this, say the following aloud or think it to yourself (change pronouns accordingly):
You cannot touch her.
You cannot speak to her.
Think of her and bring this curse upon you.
May your tongue catch in your throat if you dare to reach her.
May you burn and ache if you come near.
May you feel eyes upon your back each time you think her name.
They’re watching. I’m watching.
May you forever question the gaze of others –
Do they know the things you’ve done?
I do. I curse you. I bind you.
You cannot touch her.Stash the jar in a dark place, like a closet or a cabinet (I don’t recommend burying jars). Let the candle burn until it extinguishes itself.

i made a travel altar for death work 🖤
included:
- a white circle of paper in the top lid to work as an impromptu altar cloth
- a bag of coins for offerings
- jars of cemetery dirt and salt
- a palo santo stck
- copal and nag champa incense cones with a holder
i limited it to things i use on the daily. i wish there were a way for me to fit my curio casting set in there but i can carry it w/ me too!!
Two main sigils in my grimoire. These are actually modified versions.
High Power and The Watcher, to ensure my grimoire is charged with energy for personal purposes, and is watched over to keep away from prying eyes.

My very impromptu death altar! Fun fact, the center skull and left hip bone are apart of a skeleton I found and cleaned up myself and I still love it
Beautiful!!! I am trying to find the perfect set up myself!
Ohh this is so lovely.
What does it mean in your about that you “draw from” Hannibal? I don’t know much about pop culture magic, but it’d be interesting to me to mash up magic and Hannibal. 🖤💜
With Hannibal, I draw aspects of shadow work and blood magic, using the concepts of cannibalism, nightmares, and trauma as my major focus. As someone who also focuses on curses, utilizing “eating” (eat the rude, cannibalism) as a form of magic (such as in some spirit work you can also “eat” spirits), as well as nightmares (the night mare stag).
I believe that different works, fandoms, and so on have different energies put into them, especially media due to their being collective and collaborative work of many people involved pouring their energy into it, knowingly or not, and there’s a certain energy about Hannibal that I can draw from as a source, per se, to help me cast minor spells. For me it’s like a mixture of an egregore and a reservoir – so many people know about it, are into it, have made it, and so on that it basically made it’s own pool of energy that I “draw from” as a source.
To me it makes a little more sense than elements. You can tell me Fire means XYZ but to me, I’d rather draw from the energy of, say, Dragon Age than “Fire” or the energy of “Hannibal” then, I guess, Water maybe.
I hope to eventually get into a pop culture paganism aspect, not just witchcraft, about Hannibal, such as potential worship of a Stag and “Wendigo” god, but until then (and until I find a better word than just Wendigo) I just use Hannibal as an area to draw out myself, shadow work, human nature, anti-human nature, and so on.
Hope that makes sense!
xoxo
